Alexandra, 9 days old
This little girl was probably the smiliest baby I've ever had the pleasure of photographing. She had the most adorable range of facial expressions, and VERY strong too! She was not too impressed with the idea of being posed, but she managed to come up with some very cute ones on her own.
It was great to see this family again, and recreate a few shots from their maternity session. It's so cool to see the transformation from couple to family - I really love getting to know my clients while they're expecting.
Holden, 13 days
This cutie's Mama and I graduated from Algonquin College's Photography program together. She is quite the talented photographer herself, so it was an honour for me to be trusted with her son's newborn portraits.
I got to play him with first at 13 days old, and then again at 4 weeks for a few shots with Mom and Dad. Being an "older" newborn, we had to work pretty hard for these shots, but they were SO worth it. I just love that squishy little face.
Tania+John, 39 weeks
I had a great time getting to know this sweet couple last weekend. Hard to believe that Tania is 39 weeks pregnant in these photos, and that any moment now her baby girl could be entering the world. I'm so glad that I was able to capture this special time for them, before the next wonderful phase of their lives begins.
